In The Beginning...

OK, I've decided to give this "blog" thing (as the youngsters these days say) a go. My hope is that it will be a bit more of a personalized way to share thoughts and photos than my current method (which is to dump about 50 pictures at a shot onto Shutterfly and mass email a link out to various friends and family).

I'm not sure where to pick things up - I might travel back in time to Lucy's birth (September 2005), but that might be a bit ambitious. Not sure if it's cheating to blog history either.

Anyhoo, let's see what happens.
