Let me count the ways.


These are Tim Tams. I've posted before on the Aussie love of bikkies, but I'm telling you, these cookies are the best cookies in the world. I eat at least one every day. I can't stop thinking about them. Before I fall asleep, and when I wake up in the morning - I have visions of eating Tim Tams.

I think they have crack in them. They're THAT addictive.

If you read the Arnott's page above, it sounds like I'm not alone. Every Aussie I've met talks of Tim Tams with a tone of reverence. The other day I had a guy use them in a wastewater treatment analogy (for the preference of microorganisms preferentially taking up different substrates in a biological odour scrubber, for those of you interested). "It's like when you put out a plate of bikkies, and all the Tim Tams get taken first", he said. In my first days here, I would have looked at him thinking "what the hell is this guy on about". However, now that I'm a convert, I knew EXACTLY what he meant.

According to this, you can get them in Canada. I tell you, when we get back, I'm finding out where, because I'll be tweaking pretty bad if I don't.
