The Bridge
One of the girls' favourite places - Lucy especially - is known simply as The Bridge.
The Bridge is - wait for it - a bridge that goes over a small river that flows past one of the parking lots on the outskirts of the McMaster campus. You walk about 5 minutes from our house to the back of the neighbourhood, walk down a set of stairs built by one of our neighbours years ago, and you're there.
Attractions at The Bridge include:

Attractions at The Bridge include:
- The Bridge itself, which makes a perfect platform for throwing sticks into the river and watching them float downstream:
- The Hill on the other side of the bridge, which when covered with snow makes a good tobogganing area - or, if snow is lacking - a good rolling area:
- And Trees - perfect for climbing in, or just standing next to and looking cute:
