O Christmas Tree

The girls and I were in charge of decorating the Christmas tree this year, and if I say so myself, we did a pretty good job.

And we even got a funny story out of it - how Daddy (foolishly) tried to remove an obviously broken bulb from the string of lights (the filaments were exposed, for goodness sake) without unplugging the string of lights first...this resulted in Daddy emitting kind of a funny combination between a howl and a shriek before collapsing in a fit of laughter. The girls thought Daddy had lost his marbles.
