Deedee Junior

Joely & Lucy are both pretty big fans of the Doodlebops. Right now I can picture many of the people with little kids reading this nodding knowingly, while those of you without ankle-biters are issuing a collective "huh?". So, to sort out the confusion here is some background.

Joely is particularly a big fan of Deedee Doodle, because....well....she wears pink. And she's a girl. I won't post a picture of her here, because no doubt the cute and cuddly Doodlebops have some high-powered legal representation who would shut down the Bye Blog and sue my ass in a heartbeat. However, if you dare click on the above link, you'll have no problem picking Deedee out based on my detailed description.

Today, Deedee Junior made an appearance in Perth, thanks to Tanya who Joely is rapidly beginning to believe can make anything out of felt.



After dinner, during one of the frequent impromptu rock-out sessions that occur at our house, Deedee Jr. treated us to a smokin' rendition of "Puff the Magic Dragon", complete with appropriate stage props:
