Well, as further evidence that kids are language sponges, Lucy has also developed the ability to quite flawlessly pull off an Aussie accent.
Yesterday, she walked around saying the word "water" (that word we Canadians pronounce as "wadder") as woe-tah, then laughing her head off.
The one that Tan and I find funnier is the one that she doesn't even realize she's doing. Australian accents have certain words where it sounds like there's an "r" in there, but there really isn't. For example, you'll often hear little Aussie kids pronounce the word "no" as "nor".
