Chunder Down Under

linky to definition of chunder

Poor Lucy had her first puking session two nights ago. At about 18 months, it was about the same age that Joely had hers at. You go in to the dark room, the smell hits you, and you discover the poor little things are covered in vomit. They're confused, tired, disoriented, and unable to articulate or express what's the matter - it's the first time it's happened to them and it really must throw them for a loop. This no doubt is exacerbated by adults running around changing sheets, changing pyjamas, running baths, etc.

The first night involved two chucks, the second just one. Here's poor little Lu feeling a bit out of sorts after the second night of this fun:

It appears as though we've got a bona fide bug on our hands. A few hours ago, just after we got Joely bathed and ready for bed, she did the technicolour yawn on the couch. We got her sorted out and to bed with fingers crossed (recall that Lucy has yet to make it through a night without chucking since this has started). A few hours later, we heard a little one cry out. Tan and I assumed it was Joely so we took off to her room, only to find her sound asleep. We raced back out, got our bearings, and honed in on Aiden's room. Everyone burst in to find him throwing up all over the bed.

Oy vey.
